Our Story
We are a veteran and family owned and operated ranch in the heart of Nebraska. After serving 20 years and retiring from the military, we decided to settle down and start a ranch in the middle of America.
Auðumbla (oud-hoom-blah)
In the Norse Mythology creation story the first cow was called Auðumbla. Auðumbla was responsible for licking away the primordial ice and giving its milk to ensure the survival of the first man.
What is a Regenerative Ranch?
Regenerative ranching is a holistic land management approach that improves soil health, enhances biodiversity, and sequesters carbon, focused on restoring and maintaining natural ecosystems, not just producing food.
HEALTH
Grass-fed, Grass Finished beef offers several potential health benefits compared to grain-fed beef, including higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and antioxidants. It also tends to be lower in total fat and calories. These differences can contribute to improved heart health, better blood sugar control, and may offer benefits for reducing inflammation and cancer risk.
ENVIROMENT
Grass-fed, Grass Finished beef can be better for the environment compared to grain-fed beef due to its lower carbon footprint, improved soil health, and increased biodiversity. Our Grass-fed cattle utilize rotational grazing, which can trap atmospheric carbon and improve soil health, while grain-fed beef relies on more intensive farming practices that can contribute to higher emissions and soil degradation.
ANIMAL WELFARE
Our system of regenerative ranching and rotational grazing offers several benefits for animals, including a more natural diet, reduced antibiotic use, and a healthier environment. These benefits contribute to improved animal health and well-being.

Our beef is raised in the heart of America. Located in the Northeast corner of Nebraska, our cattle are born and raised here.
